The Residential Support Specialist also supports and assists residents to successfully transition from incarceration into the community, independent living skills and in meeting rehabilitation goals. Residential Support specialist must demonstrate an acceptable level of maturity, good judgment, and emotional stability. Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including some weekend and overnight shifts.<\/p><p class=\"p4\">Job Type: Full Time, Part Time<\/p><p class=\"p4\">Pay: $22<\/p><p class=\"p4\">Work Location: Stockton, CA<\/p><p class=\"p2\">RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li5\">Monitors house activities while directly supervising resident actions and movements.<\/li><li class=\"li5\">Provides clients with guidance and support on an informal basis as needed.<\/li><li class=\"li5\">Stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in reentry programs and services<\/li><li class=\"li5\">Provide support services to help individuals navigate the challenges of reentry <span class=\"s2\">\u2022 Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients being served. <\/span><\/li><li class=\"li6\">Administer medication to all clients. \u2022 Follow and uphold all GLOM and facility policies and procedures.<\/li><li class=\"li7\">\u2022 Provide incoming shift staff with a detailed pass down relating to all issues\/clients.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p2\">QUALIFICATIONS<\/p><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li9\">High School Diploma or GED<\/li><li class=\"li9\">College degree is preferred but not required.<\/li><li class=\"li9\">Minimum of 1 year of experience in reentry services or related field<\/li><li class=\"li9\">Strong knowledge of the criminal justice system and the challenges faced by individuals reentering society<\/li><li class=\"li9\">Strong understanding of the challenges faced by people reentering society after incarceration<\/li><li class=\"li9\">PPD test for tuberculosis and satisfactory results<\/li><li class=\"li9\">FBI and DOJ criminal background clearances<\/li><li class=\"li9\">Free from state sanctions<\/li><li class=\"li9\">Valid driver license<\/li><li class=\"li9\">CPR\/First Aid\/BLS certification<\/li><li class=\"li9\">CCL approved FBI and DOJ criminal background clearances.<\/li><li class=\"li9\">Act as a team member providing input and reporting observations and concerns in regard to client symptoms and symptom management.<\/li><li class=\"li2\">Demonstrate the ability to act a part of a team and in an appropriate manner in a crisis situation.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p2\">PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<\/p><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li11\">Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and\/or carry up to 25 pounds.<\/li><li class=\"li11\">Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.<\/li><li class=\"li11\">Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.<\/li><li class=\"li11\">Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.<\/li><li class=\"li2\">Ability to work in an office environment.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"p2\">BENEFITS<\/p><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li12\">Medical, Dental, Vision<\/li><li class=\"li12\">Life Insurance<\/li><li class=\"li2\">Employee Assistance Program (EAP)<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"p4\"><i>One step to your future starts here so come join a team that makes a difference in your community.
