POSITION SUMMARY:
The Re-Entry Program Administrator works as part of a multi-disciplinary team in providing supervision to adult residents who have been released from prison or jail, some with severe and persistent mental illness. The Program Administrator will be responsible for developing and implementing programs designed to help individuals who have been released from prison or jail reintegrate into society. This position also manages facility staff members and must demonstrate an acceptable level of maturity, good judgment, and emotional stability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement reentry programs and services, including job training, education, substance abuse treatment, mental health services, and other support services as needed
- Monitor and track progress of individuals in the program and adjust services as needed to ensure success
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in reentry programs and services
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by people reentering society after incarceration and be able to develop effective programs to address these challenges. • Overseeing and maintaining up to date employee records.
- Assisting with conducting staff reviews, evaluations, write ups, and mediations.
- Being a part of the Development of a plan for the orientation, development, and training of staff with Program Director and Licensee.
- Review of complaints made by clients and/or their authorized representative(s) and deciding upon the action to be taken to handle the complaint.
- Ensure the provisions of services to clients with special health and mental health care needs with appropriate regard for the client’s physical and mental health well-being and needs, including those services identified in the client’s individualized health care plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree is preferred but not required.
- Program Administrator Certification (ARF Specific).
- At least one (1) year of experience working in an administrative support capacity.
- Minimum of (1) year of experience in reentry services or related field
- Strong knowledge of the criminal justice system and the challenges faced by individuals reentering society
- Knowledge of psychiatric illness and its treatment.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in an often-ambiguous environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups.
- MS Office Suite proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record with maintaining strict confidentiality and appropriately work with sensitive information/documents.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication and organizational skills
- PPD test for tuberculosis and satisfactory results.
- CCL approved FBI and DOJ criminal background clearances.
- Valid driver’s license.
- CPR/First Aid/BLS certification.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
- Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
- Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in an office environment.
